Background
Sieyin Phung is a Senior Program Manager with experience in project and program management primarily within the NGO sector. She currently holds the role of Program Manager for the Global Women’s and Newborn’s Health Working Group at Burnet. Sieyin brings extensive experience in managing UN Projects and collaborating with development and humanitarian agencies particularly, World Health Organisation (WHO), and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
In her previous roles at Burnet, she held the position of Project Manager for the Tuberculosis Elimination and Implementation Science Group focusing on projects related to RID-TB and a range of projects in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. Additionally, she was responsible for overseeing the Institute’s Education and Training Programs which included the Master of Public Health and International courses, conducted in partnership with Monash and Melbourne University. She has also managed several Australian Award Fellowships funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT).
