Background
Gaby identifies as an Aboriginal woman but due to the tragic impacts of the Stolen Generation, her family has not been able to locate which Mob they are connected to.
Gaby has worked in the Alcohol and Other Drugs sector for 10 years in various settings such as residential detox, Aboriginal community health, outreach, education and Victoria’s Aboriginal peak body, VACCHO.
Gaby is a passionate advocate for embedding cultural safety in all areas to ensure the human rights of Aboriginal people are respected and valued. Gaby is a harm reduction advocate who is focused on amplifying the voices of people who use drugs.
