Background
David (he/him) is a junior doctor and early career researcher with a special interest in sexual health and HIV and currently working part-time with the Burnet Insitute.
David's research has focussed on the implementation and evaluation of novel HIV testing strategies, along with sexually transmissible infection surveillance. David's current research focuses on the scale-up of HIV self-testing in Australia.
David has previously been a peer worker providing HIV and other sexual health testing to gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men at Australia's first shopfront rapid point-of-care HIV testing clinic.
Currently, David is completing his medical residency with Western Health with a view to a career in medical practice, education, and research, with a focus on sexual health and blood borne viruses among other areas.
