Burnet evaluation survey of HIV prevention campaigns

  • Burnet Institute
  • 15 Aug 2016

Burnet Institute is undertaking an evaluation of Victorian HIV and STI prevention social marketing campaigns targeting gay and bisexual men on behalf of the Victorian Department of Health.

The survey asks questions on demographics, sexual behaviours, sexual health, knowledge of HIV and STI prevention strategies, attitudes towards primary prevention and biomedical prevention tools and campaign awareness and engagement.

Evaluation results will provide valuable information to inform new and ongoing health promotion in Victoria.

This year the evaluation survey is also seeking to better understand the knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and behaviours of gay and bisexual men in Melbourne in relation to new HIV prevention options, including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).

The survey is now closed. Thank you for your participation.
